Pads & Tails

Offering Dog Walking, Cat visits, Daycare, Nail clipping & Pet taxis

The name Pads&Tails comes about from my first 2 rescue greyhounds. Paddy who was rescued from Retired Greyhound Trust and a handsome blue boy and Tails a beautiful fawn girl who came home from the greyhound kennels I was volunteering for! Sadly they are no longer with us but their memories live on in my heart and work!

I have a real passion for animals and attend classes and workshops to learn about the different ways in which we can better understand them. Working with dog's everyday is a learning curve and deepens my knowledge of different breeds, Circumstances and Temperaments.

I walk dog's in pack's suited to them. Giving them priceless social skills, as well as enjoying lots of fun and stimulating exercise!

I also offer walks on a one to one basis benefiting Elderly/Young dog's, Injured or Unsociable dogs giving them benefits of being out on relaxing walks!

Edinburgh has glorious beaches and green spaces which I vary daily including  Cramond, Silverknowes, Portobello as well as many others!

I make sure we are away from busy roads so we can enjoy our walks safely!

Dog's are exercised with their friends under my constant supervision and once we know each other and with the owners written consent, off-lead!

Collection and drop off is not deducted from the hour walk and I make sure each dog has Fun, Companionship, Exercise and Affection!

Dog's will be Towel dried when required and Given fresh water everyday!

If your dog has a specific training regime we can discuss this and keep each other updated on progress. I will work with you to ensure I am doing all I can do to help them along!

Every owner enjoys knowing what there pet is up too when they're not there I post on my Facebook page stories of our adventures from the day and pictures for you to see how fun it was A text, written note or call to update you is offered too!

My van is set up to transport your pets safely and comfortably with D-rings, Crates, lights, Beds, Easy cleaned flooring and fresh drinking water is readily available!

I worked in Greyhound kennels for 4+ years and still visit regularly to catch up, Working there showed me how to deal with different Temperaments, Injuries, Grooming and how to gain trust as a confident but caring handler!

I have my own 3 rescue dogs Kitty, Murphy and Phoebe

As well as a Bearded Dragon "Rodney" and Tropical fish!

I have experience with Canines , Aquatics, Felines, Reptiles, Birds and other small fuzzys

I love volunteering with the Retired Greyhound Trust and Scottish Greyhound Sanctuary as much as possible! Which is where I fostered Kitty, now a member of the family xx

I am Fully Insured, Edinburgh council Dog walker registered, Vet Trained in Canine first aid and hold a Disclosure Scotland!

I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you and your pets soon!
